MyNurseDesk is an independent information and job listing site. We are not an employer, recruiter or licensing body.
We collect nursing job openings from employers’ own careers pages, check them by hand and list them here. We also write plain-English career guides for nurses in the USA, UK, Canada and Australia.
Job listings
We check every job, but always confirm details directly with the employer. We never charge nurses to apply.
We list each job as the employer published it. Pay, hours, closing dates and requirements can change after we check them. The employer’s own page is always the final word.
- We are not part of any hiring decision.
- We do not pass your details to employers. You apply on the employer’s own site.
- If a job asks you to pay a fee, buy equipment or share bank details before an offer, stop and report it to us.
Career guides
This guide is for general career information only. It is not medical, legal or immigration advice. Licensing rules change, so always check with the official nursing board (NCSBN, NMC, AHPRA, CNO/provincial regulators).
Our guides explain general processes, such as how an exam works or how pay is usually set. They cannot cover every personal situation, state or province.
Licensing and immigration
Only the official regulator can tell you whether you can work as a nurse in a country. Visa and immigration questions need an official government source or a registered adviser.
- USA: your state board of nursing and NCSBN
- UK: the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- Canada: the provincial regulator, such as CNO or BCCNM
- Australia: NMBA and Ahpra
